Between 1922 and 1924 thousands of refugees arrived on the island. They present arrival, temporary and permanent settlement, social integration and professional rehabilitation, as well as the refugee memory today. Alongside these main themes, the exhibition is rounded off by four special tributes to people and events related to refugees and the Greek presence in Asia Minor.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main objective of this digital exhibition, which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports, is the promotion and preservation of the historical memory and cultural heritage.
